1 About this Privacy Policy
CleanCloser LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company operating as CleanCloser ("we," "us," or "our"), provides the online business directory and promotional listing services at cleancloser.com (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, how we disclose it, and how you can contact us about it.
The initial Platform supports browsing business listings, Provider accounts, optional paid Featured listings, and direct contact with Providers through their published phone numbers or websites. It does not provide an internal messenger, service request form, user reviews, or payment processing for a Provider's work.
2 Information you provide
Account and business information may include your name, email address, business name, business phone number, city, state, service areas, categories, website, account credentials, and content you submit for a listing. We also collect correspondence, account support requests, and information needed to verify that you are authorized to control a listing.
Billing information may include billing contact details, billing address, subscription status, payment identifiers, payment status, and transaction history. Stripe processes subscription payments. Payment card details are provided to Stripe through its payment interfaces; our records may include limited details such as card brand and last four digits rather than the complete card number.
We do not ask for a Social Security number, passport, or government identity document as a routine requirement to claim a listing. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless we specifically explain why it is needed.
3 Information collected automatically
When you use the Platform, we and our service providers may collect IP addresses, browser and device information, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times, approximate location inferred from technical information, and interactions such as clicks on listing links. Hosting and security systems may record requests and errors to operate and protect the Platform.
Cookies and similar technologies support authentication, session management, security, and analytics. Google Analytics 4 collects information about use of the Platform, including cookie or device identifiers and page and interaction data. Analytics measures use of our website; it is not a record of the content of a phone call or communication on a Provider's website.
4 Public business information
We may create unclaimed listings using publicly available business information, including information published on a business's own website or other publicly accessible sources. This may include business names, business phone numbers, websites, cities, service areas, and service categories. Some business contact information may also identify an individual owner or sole proprietor.
We do not display business street addresses. An authorized representative may request a listing correction, claim, or removal at support@cleancloser.com. We verify authority using an established business email address, business phone number, or appropriate supporting business records before processing ownership-based changes. Personal information requests can be sent to privacy@cleancloser.com.
5 How we use information
We use information to operate and display the directory; create and manage accounts; verify listing claims; maintain accurate listings; process subscriptions and billing; send verification, password reset, billing, security, and account notices; respond to support and privacy requests; measure website use; improve the Platform; prevent abuse and fraud; resolve disputes; and meet legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not collect a homeowner's service request for delivery to a Provider through the initial Platform. If you call a published business phone number or visit a Provider's website, the information you share directly is handled by that Provider under its own practices. We may still measure that a link was clicked.
6 When we disclose information
Public listings. Listing information is visible to visitors and may be indexed by search engines. Account credentials, claim verification records, and subscription billing records are not published as listing content.
Service providers. We disclose information as needed to vendors that provide hosting, databases, file storage and content delivery, security, payment processing, transactional email delivery, and analytics. Stripe processes subscription payments, Resend delivers transactional email, and Google provides Google Analytics 4. These providers receive information needed for their functions and may also process some information under their own policies.
Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or enforce our agreements.
Business transactions. Information may be disclosed in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable safeguards and any notice required by law.
We do not sell personal information for money. We use analytics for website measurement. This Policy does not describe a sale of homeowner leads or an advertising audience marketplace.
7 Google Analytics and cookie choices
Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to measure activity. Google may process information from the Platform together with information from other sites or services under its policies and the applicable Analytics settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser and use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, where supported, at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking cookies may affect login or other essential features. Where the Platform provides a cookie choice control, you can use it to manage optional cookies. Contact privacy@cleancloser.com about analytics choices or a privacy preference signal.
The Platform does not currently change its data collection solely in response to a browser Do Not Track signal. Third-party services such as Google may collect information about activity over time and across different websites. A Do Not Track signal is distinct from a legally recognized opt-out preference signal; rights and requests required by applicable law remain available.
8 Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Relevant criteria include whether an account or listing is active, the need to maintain reliable directory information, billing and tax recordkeeping obligations, dispute resolution, security, and legal requirements. Information no longer needed is deleted or deidentified, subject to legally required retention and reasonable backup cycles.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Protect your credentials and contact support@cleancloser.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
9 Your requests and choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by emailing privacy@cleancloser.com. You may also request account closure or correction of public business information. Describe your request and the email address or listing involved. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity or authority. Do not send a government identity document or sensitive identifier unless specifically requested with an explanation.
Your legal rights depend on your location and whether a particular privacy law applies to CleanCloser and the information involved. Where applicable, these may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of certain processing, as well as use of an authorized agent or an appeal. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any legally permitted refusal or retention requirement. To appeal a privacy decision where that right applies, reply to our response or email privacy@cleancloser.com with the reason for your appeal. We do not discriminate for exercising a legally protected privacy right.
An account deletion request will stop future subscription renewals. Some billing, security, and legal records may remain. Closing an account does not automatically establish a right to a refund or remove independently sourced public business information; include a listing removal request if that is what you want.
Account and billing emails may be necessary while you maintain an account or subscription. The initial email service is for transactional and account communications. This Policy does not authorize unsolicited marketing outreach.
10 Location and children
The Platform is intended for users seeking or offering services in the United States. Information may be stored or processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate; their laws may differ from those where you live. Any safeguards required by applicable law remain applicable.
The Platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Provider accounts and paid subscriptions are for adults aged 18 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact privacy@cleancloser.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11 Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as the Platform or our practices change. We will post the revised Policy with its effective date and provide a prominent website notice or email notice to affected account holders for material changes. We will obtain consent where required by law before applying a new use of information that requires it.
